Max brings media strategy and policy insights to Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies’ strategic communications practice. Max has over a decade of experience leading communications efforts for political campaigns, nonprofits, corporate clients, local government, and Fortune 500 executives.
Prior to joining Public Strategies, Max served as a communications director at Philadelphia City Council, where he led press efforts and secured media coverage; ghostwrote and published thought leadership pieces; branded the council office; curated content; and served as a spokesperson.
During this time, Max also ran a boutique communications consulting practice, partnering with nonprofits and charities to amplify their mission, promote events, and refine their brands. He supported both established and emerging industry leaders in securing speaking engagements and preparing for these opportunities, and regularly ghostwrote and placed op-eds and authored speeches for industry leaders.
Max began his career working on local, state, and national political campaigns. He later joined a Pennsylvania-based advocacy and communications firm, where he developed and executed strategies for local and national clients to enhance their brand and visibility. His work focused on coalition building, media training, and reputation management.
Max earned a Bachelor of Arts in communications with a minor in history from Temple University.
