He brings experience in complex physics-based technologies, including quantum innovations such as superconducting qubits, quantum computers, superconducting circuits, quantum key distribution protocols, and quantum sensors. He also advises on AI-related inventions, machine-learning algorithms, and a variety of advanced engineering technologies.
Max earned his undergraduate degree in physics, summa cum laude, from the University of Colorado Boulder, and later completed both a master's degree and a Ph.D. in physics at the University of Colorado Boulder.
