Zane assists clients with outside general counsel work and transactional matters. He counsels clients on vendor and customer contract negotiations, software license agreements, master service agreements, statements of work, nondisclosure agreements, and web-based service agreements. He has also been involved in mergers, stock sales, the acquisitions of assets, and private placement offerings. Additionally, Zane assists clients with organizational matters, including formations, filings, dissolutions, and capitalization management.
Zane earned his bachelor’s degrees in political science and history from the University of Pittsburgh and his law degree, summa cum laude, from Duquesne University School of Law. While in law school, he participated in numerous student-led organizations, most notably as vice president and senator of the Student Bar Association. Zane also received honors for his published work, winning the Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts’ writing competition in 2019.
