Matthew Mantell

Associate

Matthew focuses his practice on professional liability insurance coverage, representing healthcare providers, including hospitals, health systems, physicians, physician assistants, and nurses, in matters involving medical malpractice. Matthew has served as second chair in multiple jury trials, helping secure defense verdicts for national and regional healthcare systems.

Earlier in his legal career, Matthew served as a Clerk to the Honorable Sherri L. Schweitzer, Superior Court of New Jersey, before gaining additional experience representing high-net-worth clients on matters including custody, divorce, child and spousal support, and equitable distribution of marital property.

Dedicated to pro bono work, Matthew has represented indigent clients through Philadelphia VIP and has provided legal support to children through the Montgomery Child Advocacy Project.

Matthew earned his J.D., cum laude, from Drexel University's Thomas R. Kline School of Law. During law school, he served as a clerk to the Honorable Daniel J. Anders of the Philadelphia Common Pleas Court. Matthew graduated with honors from the University of Maryland with a B.A. in Government and Politics and History.
