Kyle is a veteran communications and public affairs professional with over 30 years of experience in government, nonprofits, and the private sector. A senior principal with Cozen O'Connor Public Strategies' Reputational Management and Crisis Communications practice, Kyle has a proven track record of success in developing and executing strategic communications, including crisis communications, and working with diverse teams of professionals to advance organizational goals.
Most recently, Kyle served as the senior vice president of external affairs for the America 250 Foundation, where he led efforts to raise awareness of the group's initiatives and worked to cultivate key partnerships. Kyle has served as a communications director for a number of other organizations, including the Democratic National Convention Committee (DNCC), where he served as Deputy Communications Lead for the 2016 Democratic National Convention, charged with managing more than 1,000 local, national, and international media organizations. He has also supported the communications and outreach for the multi-billion-dollar Walton Family Foundation and the billion-dollar Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA), where he managed the agency's communications and messaging around the 2015 Philadelphia Papal Visit.
During his time in the public sector, Kyle developed and executed communications strategies for several key groups within the U.S. House of Representatives, including as the Democratic staff director for the Committee on House Administration, as the director of communications and marketing for the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer, and most recently, as the executive director for the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC). In that role, he served as the lead staffer for the largest and most influential legislative caucus in the House, advanced the legislative and political agenda of the CBC chair, and served as the liaison to the White House and other executive branch agencies.
Kyle earned his bachelor's degree in political science from Swarthmore College.
