Sarah Krissoff, a member in the firm’s White Collar Defense & Investigations practice, appeared on CNN’s News Central program to discuss former special counsel Jack Smith’s non-public testimony to the House Judiciary Committee. In a closed-door deposition, Smith defended his investigations into Donald Trump’s alleged effort to subvert the 2020 presidential election and his alleged retention of certain classified documents. The Committee is probing Smith's actions during his time as special counsel in the Biden administration.
