In a sentencing memo filed on August 22, Nadine Menendez, wife of former U.S. Senator Bob Menendez, asked for leniency and argued that a penalty of one year and one day would be an appropriate punishment when she is sentenced in September for taking bribes in exchange for arranging political favors from her powerful husband.
Sarah Krissoff, who – along with Catherine Yun and Andrew Vazquez - represents Nadine Menendez, told Law360 that "We're relieved to finally have an opportunity to tell Judge Stein - and the world - about Nadine."
