NEW YORK, December 1, 2025 — Jerry Goldfeder, senior counsel in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Department, has been appointed to NYC Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani’s transition advisory team. The team comprises 17 committees with more than 400 New Yorkers who will advise his administration on policy and appointments. Jerry will serve as a member of the Committee on Legal Affairs.

Jerry has been practicing election and campaign finance law for over 40 years, representing high-profile elected officials, including members of the United States Senate and the House of Representatives, as well as candidates for mayor, governor, and president of the United States. He has also provided legal counsel to members of the New York State Legislature, New York City Council, judges, unions, not-for-profits, PACs, and towns and other municipalities.
