Christopher McLoon Elected Fellow of American College of Tax Counsel

WASHINGTON, D.C., September 30, 2025 – Christopher McLoon, a member of Cozen O’Connor’s Tax Practice, has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel (ACTC). Fellows of ACTC must be nominated by a current Fellow and assessed by a committee of the Board of Regents. ACTC, founded in 1981, is a nonprofit association of tax attorneys in private practice, law, business, graduate school teaching positions, and government who are recognized for their excellence in tax practice and their contributions and commitment to the legal profession.

With a wealth of experience providing strategic tax guidance to businesses, investors, and real estate developers, Christopher designs transaction structures to achieve optimal business and tax results for clients, including foreign and tax-exempt investors, using a variety of entity types, including partnerships, corporations, and real estate investment trusts. He has also contributed to many tax policy comment projects for the Tax Section of the American Bar Association, taught Partnership Taxation and Business Taxation as an adjunct law professor, and written numerous articles and outlines for national publications.
