Neil Quartaro will moderate two panels at the New York State Bar Association International Section 2025 Global Conference.
Neil will moderate “The World’s Second Oldest Profession: Maritime Law in an Age of Disruption” plenary panel session. This panel will focus on recent developments in international trade law and policy related to maritime law. Neil and the other panelists will discuss the impact of tariffs on trade and transportation, the increased legal focus on domestic ship production, and legal developments helping and hindering the free transportation of goods across borders.
Neil will also moderate the “A View from the Bench: The Ethical Practice of Law by Counsel and Clients” plenary panel session. Neil and the other panelists will discuss how attendees can focus on the merits of a case rather than the personalities behind it.
