In response to the EEOC’s quiet shift in guidance in April 2024—and with other agencies likely to follow—the ACC will host a timely panel on how companies can navigate the new expectations for workplace investigations.

Janice Sued Agresti, Eliza Estrella, Michelle Ballard Miller, and Nicole Su will explore how to conduct investigations that are both effective and defensible. The panel will address how to protect attorney-client privilege, manage third-party investigators, and avoid common legal and ethical missteps.

Drawing on recent agency guidance and court decisions, the discussion will provide practical strategies for keeping investigations on track and aligned with evolving legal standards.
